JUNE SUMMER PROGRAMS

SCRABBLE ANYONE The Niceville Public Library will be set up with Scrabble boards for the adult community to play and enjoy on Wednesday, June 2 and Jun 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Please keep in mind that you don’t have to be an expert to participate and all skill levels are welcome. Summer Movie Matinee@ the Library
The Friends of the Niceville Library will sponsor a monthly Movie Matinee focusing on Florida history. On Friday, June 11 at 1:00 pm, we will be showing Butch Harrison: Florida Cracker Storyteller. Enjoy an afternoon in our air-conditioned Youth Services program room watching films recommended for all Floridians.

Make a Splash…Read!! at Your Library” this summer:
Summer reading kick-off is Wednesday, June 16th 11:00-1:00 in Youth Services. Stop by and pick up your reading logs, schedules and book bags along with all the information you need to “Make a Splash”! Light refreshments will be served. Reading programs begin June 23rd as scheduled below and include age appropriate books, poems, music, and crafts. Your child’s story group is determined by the grade he has just completed. Reading level should be considered for books your child checks out for his/her reading logs.
Age 3- Kindergarten; Wednesdays 10:30 a.m.
1st-3rd grades; Wednesdays 11:00-12:00
4th grade & up; Wednesdays 12:15-1:15

Baby Bookworms-
This lapsit program consists of music, stories and rhymes especially chosen to build the bond between you and your child. Program is suited for children from birth to age 3. Please meet in YS program room May 14th and May 28th. Prewalkers 9:30 Walkers 10:30

American Girls History Mystery Book Club— This club for girls ages 7-12 will meet Saturday May 15th, from 10:00-12:00 in
the YS program room. This month’s selection is “Secrets in the Hills”; a Josefina mystery by Kathleen Ernst. The library has copies of each book for checkout or you may purchase your own copy. Please read the book for discussion and related activities. Seating is limited. Registration is required. Sign up in YS or call to reserve your seat 729-4554.

Teen Space-Ages 13-17-
